The goal
Translating the charm of a wine tavern (Heurigen) into the digital world
Authenticity, a commitment to quality, and family craftsmanship are at the heart of the Herzog family’s work. The quality wines from the Thermenregion are meant to inspire fellowship, enjoyment, and reflection.
The website relaunch reflects these values in digital form and allows online purchases in the Heurigen’s webshop.

Structure and concept
The previous website was independently created by the Herzog family using a website builder. The goal of the relaunch through our WordPress agency was to further professionalize their online presence. A key focus was the integration of a webshop with online payment to sell their wines regionally direct to the consumer.
Web design & UX
Down-to-earth yet refined, personal yet modern – the web design of weingut-herzog.at has become a real eye-catcher. The “wine stain” and images of the landscape and people serve as a consistent visual theme throughout the entire site. It was important to us that the interactive elements of the shop didn’t take center stage. On the overview pages, they remain subtle and only appear upon mouse hover.
WordPress & Woocomerce Entwicklung
Neben der grafischen Individualisierung der Shop-Oberflächen haben wir Anpassungen vorgenommen, um das Einkaufserlebnis zu verbessern und an die Wein-Logistik anzupassen. Paketverfolgung und Bestellung/Versand in 6er-Schritten, passend zu den Kartons für den Flaschenversand, sind zwei Beispiele. Die Social Media Aktivitäten des Weinguts werden live auf die Startseite der Homepage synchronisiert.
