The goal
Website with clear user navigation
Wein Niederösterreich Marketing GmbH was founded in 2021. Its tasks include building the image and increasing the visibility of Lower Austria as a wine region, as well as promoting wines from Lower Austria.
The website serves as a hub for winemakers from Lower Austria. The goals for the new online presence were both a well-thought-out and clear user navigation, and the representation of the wine regions of Lower Austria.

Comprehensive service: from website concept to ongoing support
Structure and concept
At the start of the project, we defined the website structure through several meetings and outlined the content layout of the homepage with initial website sketches. The structure and page layout were designed to ensure that even less internet-savvy users could easily navigate the site and quickly access relevant information.
Web design & UX
The landscape of the Lower Austrian wine region and the people who produce and enjoy the wine are the core elements of our web design for weinniederoesterreich.at. The expansive image areas are bathed in warm colors, and, thanks to generous whitespace, there is ample room for the website’s textual content.
WordPress development
The Lower Austrian State Wine Awards is the largest wine competition in the region. To properly showcase the annual finalists and state winners on the website, we developed an overview with a filter function by winery, year, variety, and wine region.
Ongoing support and maintenance
There’s always something happening in the Lower Austrian wine region, and the same goes for the website. In addition to ongoing technical website maintenance, we allocate a time quota for short-term website updates and expansions.
