Many businesses had to, and continue to, seek new (sales) avenues during the pandemic to maintain contact with their customers despite closed storefronts and to continue serving them. Some small shops ventured into the online world for the first time, often reluctantly.
This often presents a challenging start, but also brings significant opportunities for continued existence in the digital realm – if one knows how to leverage the strengths of the online sector effectively.
Our agency director, David Bongard, has outlined in his recent commentary in anzeiger, the magazine of the Austrian Book Trade Association, why the right online measures can help businesses better understand their customers and make their operations more resilient to crises and future-proof.
“On web presences and online marketing channels, nearly seamless success measurement is usually possible. When handled correctly, this can reduce marketing wastage and specifically increase sales figures. […] Those who start soon not only benefit in the upcoming Christmas season, but also create a healthy foundation for the digital world after the pandemic.”
